Mary Brinegar celebrates her 23rd year at the garden this year. She has been responsible, excluding 2020, for a full-time staff of 170, an annual operating budget of $24.6 million and with the board and staff has raised over $100 million dollars for capital improvements. The Arboretum has had 40,000 member households and attendance of over a million guests a year.
